We were so impressed with this year’s harvest in Yakima we decided to brew 2017’s anniversary brew with our favorite hops from the trip: Roy Farms Chinook, Roy Farms Centennial, and Black Star Ranch Mosaic. Aggressive kettle and dry-hopping will showcase notes of pine, resinous hop character, and tropical fruit. Slight haze.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a vibrant yellow gold color with a small creamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was pine, lemon and grapefruit. The flavor was dryish and bitter with grapefruit and citric acid. Medium length finish. Somewhat thin in body.

From bottle to glass. Copper-gold with moderate off-white head. Slanted to the malt and sweet side, but overall a nice beer.

Draft at brewery. Bright golden with airy, bubbly head. Tart, citrusy aroma, taste too. Crisp, really crisp. Palate really tingling. Slightly dry finish, but a real wake up call for your mouth.

Pour is a clear-ish yellow with a large white head. Aroma is a decent pungent, slightly bitter fruity hop. Flavor is likewise with a decent fruit hop with just a slight bitterness. Not an overly aggressive hoppy IPA but this has just enough hop characteristics to keep it interesting.

Tap IPH robinson. This has a more milder attitude with some co2 thank goodness. Clear pale. Smells like the mild BO of your mate after sex. Taste is not as hoppy as an IPA but it is quite fresh. Never over the top.A little medium length bitterness on the finish but let me tell you, this is not a contemporary IPA, its like the original IPAs.
