Tap. Amber color with white head. Aroma is slightly fruity, a bit dirty aromas. Taste is a bit yeasty, malty, quite full-bodied and tangy. A Helles with character, but also a bit boring and "dirty". 6-3-6-3-13Another time at the source - cleaner, no dirty flavours, but still quite rustic. Better than other times!

Optisch nix auszusetzen, goldene Farbe, stabiler Schaum, reichlich Perlen. In der Nase maischig, leider. Im Trunk setzt sich das fort, malziger Abgang, spät bitter. Nicht so mein Fall, zu unausgewogen.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy grassy hoppy aroma with weak yeasty hints. Fruity malty grainy grassy hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy grassy hoppy finish.

Tap at the brewery. Bright, clear, deep golden color with a fine, pillowy head. Clean, crisp malt nose, bready, crackers, light herbal hops. Sweetish, bready malt flavor, low hop flavor but a decent prickly finish. A bit soapy in the body. Not that great.

Fra fat på bryggeripuben 9 Okt 14. Mørk gylden. Lavt skum. Beskjeden søt maltaroma. Smaken veldig søt. Gress & mais. Lite annet.

Draught at the brewpub, thanks to Finn for sharing. Slightly off-white head to a clear golden coloured body. Modest aroma of grainy malts. Dusty hops and mid-sweet malts to the taste buds. Drying to the finish. Medium bodied. Soft carbonated. Fair enough (Bamberg 09.10.2014).

Bamberg jolly day 2 25/01/2014. Draft at Fassla. Bright golden orange colour with a lasting white head. Aroma is sileage, grassy hop, somewhat stale hop. Some wort in the nose as well. Flavour follows, grassy fermenting grass. Dirty rough bitterness rounds it out. Not a big fan of this.

500ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkel goldenes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, getreidig, minimale Säuerlichkeit.

Draft at Fassla - Bamberg. Pouors clear, rich gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely stuff, lots of tasty, lightly toasted cereals, hints of caramelised sugar. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp finish with nice, crunchy cereal character. Lovely and very drinkable.

Bamberg Bash Day 2. On tap at the Brewpub come comfortable hotel. Clear gold beer, small white head. Smooth palate with mild minerally carbonation. Smooth malt but rich and a little creamy. Whisper of vanilla (think Colin dug this out and then of course, as soon as he said it, it was obvious). Very light touch of hops. Finishes lightly crisp. Nice.
