Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, tap at Fassla post breakfast, 25/01/14. Clear golden with a good sized white head. Nose is light caramel, vanilla, soft bread dough, straw. Taste comprises mellow citrus, vanilla, caramel, subtle hop notes. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Solid Helles.

ein etwas laffes Lager. Insgesamt eine relativ wässrige Angelgenheit mit immerhin 5,5%. Das Einzige, was deutlich auffällt, ist ein schönes, aber nicht ausgeprägtes Röstmalzaroma, was dem Bier irgendwie eine eigenartige Trockenheit verleiht, die aber auch durch den etwas höheren Alkoholgehalt kommen kann. Insgesamt gerade noch "gut".

50cl bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Clear golden color, medium sized white to off - white head. Smell and taste are malts, lightly hayish and decently bitter. Quite nicely balanced, decent body and carbonation.

Shared a bottle with benzai. Bought at Rewe in Bamberg, DE. Clear golden yellow colour with a small to medium sized, slightly dense white head. Smells very pilsener like.. Some,malts, grains. Fresh smell. Tastes malts, grain, slightly dried corn/barnyard. Thin to medium body, nice carbo. Easily drinkable, pilsener like beer.

Bayrischer anstich at Fässla. Dark goldenwith a lasting white head.Malty aroma with toffee and a bit of diacetyl. Sweetish malty flavour

I stated in Fassla for three night but oddly, this was the only beer available. Nice copper color. Thin white head. Lightly sweet grain flavor and a dry finish. Smooth palate.

ON tap at the brewery in Bamberg. Cereal on aroma, not too carbonated. Bit of toffee. Yes quite light, but enough tastyness. Just really drinkable. First beer of the day after a long walk so went down well.

Thin yellow hazy colour. Mild flowers with fruits and malt in the aroma. The flavour has a mild frutiness with malt, grass and a mild bitterness.
