Bottle. Clear amber/ dark orange with nice white head. Mild aroma of malts, some biscuits, caramel and hints of oranges. Taste follows aroma plus metal. Moderate grainy and slightly herbal bitterness. Low carbonation. Refreshing and light. This one probably doesn’t inspire great works of art but I‘d gladly spend a day or two drinking it in a rural Pub watching some lower league football matches.

Bottle from ASDA, Sheerwater. Aroma is sweet and sour - caramel and berries. Clear chestnut. Foamy white head. Light bitter. Sweet streak. Sour edge. Grainy. The caramel and berries. But loses points for underlying boiled veg. Light bodied. Pretty thin if slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. It's enjoyable enough but of course they had to top it off with that water they'd boiled their lunchtime cabbage in.

500ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Weak, toasty malty and earthy, leafy, minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, a touch of red berries, caramel, nuts, toffee. Taste is slightly dry, toasty malty, minimally floral, slightly bitter, earthy leafy hoppy; dry, minimally chalky finish. Watery texture, dry palate, fine, soft carbonation. Clean, anaemic, almost aseptic - an uncalled-for product.

500ml bottle. Amber pour, a little mist, frothy off-white head. Gentle amber malt on the nose. Taste is nicely light and drinkable with a comforting unimposing caramel character running throughout. Very distant smoky hints. Good pintworthy evening refresher.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass amber coloured, small head. Starts mild, malty, light metallical. Some herbal-woody notes as well. Finish again mild, almost a bit washy. Okay.

Light brown colour with foamy head. Aroma and flavour have soft biscuity malts and dry floral hop. Quite weak and thin but bot bad for a low alcohol beer.
