Bottle from Aldi and drunk at home. Clear very pale gold no head. Bready aroma. It certainly isn’t horrible. A little metallic in the mouth but also some lime and lemon flavours. No cardboard, nothing stale. It’s fine, if not too exciting. A little carbonic acid on the finish.

50cl bottle. Appearance -golden with a head that quickly disappears. Nose - cornflakes mostly. Taste - corn and not much else. Palate - light bodied with a light but creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher. Overall - disappointing for what is supposedly a pils.

Bottle from Aldi as part of budget month. Nose is cereal, grain, hops. Taste is cereal, grassy, sugar, slight floral hops note. No meaningful bite or taste to get to grips with. Marginally better than the poorer tinned macro beers, but tastes every penny of it’s 75p.

Bottle. Aldi. Less than a nicker. Very pale, crystal clear, colour of piss. Minimal, white head. Very grainy, and quite grassy. Taste is light bitter. Some yeasty, bready sweetness. Palate is a bit flabby. Finishes light sweet. Light dry. Nadge of bitter. Can’t imagine a time when I’d want more than one of these.

500 ml bottle. Clear pale golden with a white head. Weak grainy aroma. Flavor is light malt, grain, low bitterness, some cardboard and an unpleasant hint of cabbage. Thin and watery body, short aftertaste. Another boring lager.
