Pale yellow, off-white head, good lace. Maltsweet, soft hops, light herbal in the finish. Refreshing and OK but that’s it.

33 cl. bottle @ home. Straw yellow with a white head. Grassy, hoppy smell. Bitter hops in the taste. More than decent pilsener

Sampled from a 12 oz green bottle this beer poured a pale yellow color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that left some lacing. The aroma was faint perfumey hops without much else going on. The flavor was tart and crisp lemon and perfume. The finish was long, tart and perfumey. Light body. Eh.

Chevy Chase Wine and Liquors, DC 330ml ($2ish): Pours a pale gold with a white head that leaves enough lacing. Slightly metallic aroma with some grainy and dry hoppy things going down in there. Nice amount of German hop bitterness, but finsihes off with a metallic and almost a sugary note as well. Not quite crisp enough either in my opinion. I’ve had better, but this is still fine.

All skunk on the nose. Clear yellow, medium white head. Considerably grainy with a grassy finish. Classic pilsner, flavorful. Slight sweetness, but palatable.

Location: Draft at Ardesia, 5/15/10

Aroma: The nose is grains, malts, bread, some floral notes
Appearance: It has a clear golden pour, good amount of lace
Flavor: The taste is malty and bready
Palate: It is somewhat crisp, has a light body, and an above avg carbonation
Overall Impression: A drinkable pilsener. Crisp, clean refreshing, and ultimately pretty forgettable. Not much more to say beyond that...
