On tap at Riegele Brauhaus Biergarten, Augsburg Saturday 4th July 2020, we are stopping at Campsite Bella Augusta on the outskirts of the city. This pours clear gold, with a white head, dry, pleasant bitterness, fruity, a little mineral edge, good.

Gold with a creamy white head. Grassy, herbal aroma. Taste is bitter the whole way through with some faint hints of lemons and tea. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Good for a Helles.

Brilliant gold with a huge white frothy head. Decent lacing. Aroma: clean malts, spicy noble hop. Light to medium body. Average to lively carbonation. Taste: very clean, crisp, subtle cracker malts, pronounced noble hop. Light to medium herbal and grassy bitterness. The name does not lie. it is fine indeed.

Bottle. Golden straw color, clean and clear, with good white foam. Aroma: fragrant German hops, slightly floral, slightly grassy and slightly spicy, very light malt with a touch of sweetness and crackers. Taste: clean, soft, pleasant mild sweet malt, crackers, soft and pure hop bitterness, easy drinking and pleasant. Very clean and balanced beer.

0.5 l bottle from local 'Trink & Spare', best before May 2020. Clear, golden with a medium large, foamy, stable, white head. Sweetish, gently floral and a little grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some grass and a touch of citrus. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently grassy-spicy taste of grains, some grass, a touch of vanilla and traces of citrus, followed by a short, moderately bitter, slightly grassy-spicy finish. Almost medium-bodied, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Very good Helles, crisp and refreshing, some breweries would probably market it as a Pils.

Bottled 500ml. -at Zagreb Beer Fest 2019. Pale golden coloured, medium sized white head, light grainy and grassy nose. Moderate malty, light grainy, grassy and touch of herbal hops with dry bitter finish.
