bottle. Ironic they are showing us some rough rubgy guys oin the beer, when this is actually some poor pathetic lager. Pours clear golden, thick white head. aroma, just weak, hops, some grains, malts, all in a weak way. Taste, hops, corn like flavor forward, sweet malts, reains better than many other pale lagers, dry finish, skunly metallic palate.

Pours pale yellow into a shaker. Bright white micro head meringues and craters as it slowly recedes leaving spider lacing. Bright malt and mild hop aromas. Light and crisp with lemon and hops from front to back. Sour finish.

Overall Impression: Eh, OK, but hardly memorable, wouldn't turn one down, but wouldn't go out my way to get it.

Not sure I can remember another NZ beer that I've tried, is there another one I'm forgetting? I don't know.

Corn aroma. Light chemical, but not so bad, a lot better than I expected. Some hops. Yellow, and a little sweet.

Bottle: Poured a clear golden color with a bubbly white head. Aroma is grass and hops, not to inviting either. Taste is sweet with crisp harvest/grassy notes, just enough hops to offset. Finish reminds me of eating nuts, possibly almonds.

Bottle to drink in celebration of New Zealand comedy with Flight of the Conchords. Pours a thin yellow/gold with a fairly large and fizzy, white head. Aromas are skunky hops (like Becks). Flavor is sweet corn malt and skunky hops... not bad, not great. Good summer brew.

This beer is a clear pale golden color with a medium thick and foamy white head that diminishes slowly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Lightly skunky aroma with mild hops and grass. Light, clean body with light hops and malt, corn and hay flavors. The finish is clean and short with a mild hops flavor and aftertaste. Pretty boring overall.
