03-06-17 // 1000ml swingtop bottle, from Edeka supermarket Mainz. Clear amber brown beer, small white head. Aroma: Sweet malty, some caramel, mild grassy hops. Nice Bock.

Growler 1000ml. w. swing top. [ As Rheinhessen-Bräu Maibock ].[ Courtesy of flaskefolket ]. ABV: 6.6%. Clear medium to dark amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, sweet fruit, light to moderate hoppy, perfume, grass. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, grass, pale malt, fruity, light sugary. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150620]

100 cl bottle @ Sankt Hans Tasting, Ulfborg Aroma has has sweet malty tones with some sugar. Flavour has sticky malt, some grassy tones and honey. A maibock too sweet for me, how come?

Bottled@fonefan. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild alcohol and some toffee and floral notes. Flavour is fruity, floral, some bready and mild alcohol sweetness. Balanced.

1 liter Growler @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, malt, grass, herbs and hops.

Bottle. Frothy off-white good mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes orangbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch stark malzig, fruchtig. Geschmack sehr malzig, fruchtig, leicht hopfig, Karamell.

Fruchtiger, süß herber Start. Angenehme und volle alkoholische Würze. Dunkle und hopfige Malznoten im Mittelteil, frisch. Im Abgang hopfiger, würzig, harmonisch, hell erdige Noten. Sehr gut! 12/13/12/12//12

Tap. Cherry malt and very light astringent aroma. Golden yellow color with nice head. Sweet barley malt and moderate astringent flavor. Nice body. A very quaffable bock.
