Mornington IPA is an American hopped India Pale Ale. Light orange-tinted amber in colour, this heavily hopped ale delivers rich stone-fruit aromas of peach and apricots. An initially sweet malty palate opens up to a fruity hop flavour and rising bitterness that will satisfy the bitter beer drinker.

A lightly hazed golden ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy resinous hops, treacle, cereals, pleasant. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with resinous floral hops, treacle, light butterscotch, nice. Bottle from Jaya Groceries, kl.

330mL can, pours a cloudy dark orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, lots of oranges, and earthy notes. Flavour brings out herbal and spicy hops, juicy citrus notes, and earthiness. Fairy dry with a low residual sweetness. Ordinary but decently done IPA.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber with a big frothy white head. The aroma is citrus, grassy hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a fresh zesty citrus fruit, crisp woody, light toothpaste hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
