Golden with little white head. Aroma is unripe banana, green slime, yeasts, green stuff. Taste is more or less the same, unripe stuff with sourness and slight spices. Not so easy to drink. Not my type of Weizen.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a firm mid-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Moderately wheaty aroma with citrus-fruity and herbal-spicy, also slightly grassy notes. Mildly bitter and slightly sour-tart flavour, light bodied with a calm, almost a bit flat carbonation. Dry-ish malty and wheaty base with fruity notes of citrus, stonefruits, accompanied by grassy and herbal accents, lingering into the dry and slim, sour-fruity and mildly tart finish. Might be refreshing in the summer time, too bad it´s winter; drinkable but not that great. By far the weakest of the otherwise good Hopfenhacker portfolio I´ve had so far. 07.II.17

Tap (this is out in bottles now and called "Hanfblüte", 4.9%). Hazy golden-orange color with white head. Aroma is wheat, bananas, some grassy aroma, Dill as well (Sorachi Ace). Taste is wheat, dough, some bananas, some floral flavours, some more Dill. A bit earthy as well. Finish is bready and rather dry. Interesting!
