A tropical pale ale with heavy doses of citrusy Simcoe to get lips hopping. A delicate drop of Citra BBC to start mouths skipping, and enough juice all round to leave you jumping through to the soft bitter finish.

Keg draught at the West End Brewery, Leicester. Tarnished brown/gold and hazy as anything with a full off-white head. Pineapple is dominant in the dank aroma, with mango, grapefruit and notes of mint. Sweet and creamy with no bittering pushback to speak of, but a slight vegetal character at the finish. It's a good beer but so, so sweet. Not Vocation's best but certainly worth seeking out.

330ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, deep golden colour with average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity, citrusy and slightly piney, hoppy aroma, notes of passion fruit, pineapple, some yuzu. Taste is citrusy fruity hoppy, slightly tropical fruity, minimally piney, notes of pineapple, some lemon, passion fruit, a touch of yuzu, oat cream basis. Slightly creamy texture, smooth and soft palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Smooth, balanced, homogeneous, quite refreshing - good.

Can shared with JFE at his place 10.04.21. Cloudy yellow straw colour. White head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of pale malt, fresh citrus, selery and lychee. Very quaffable and interesting.

Can from Tesco Inverurie. It pours hazy golden - blonde with a fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy and fruity, candy, gummy bears, mango, peach, orange squash, white grape, chalkiness and floury bread. The taste is initially dry with a bit of bitterness, crispness, tropical fruits, peachy, mango, um bungo, quite sweet, gummy, candy, sweet white grape, chalkiness and floury bread with a sweet, fruity finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Perhaps a touch sweet and sticky, but decent anyhow.

Yellowish and hazy with a frothy, white head that lingers for the duration. Tropical aroma full of pineapple and lemon on a background of pine. Taste is bitter the whole way through with some chalky acridity at the end. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, interesting but not particularly refreshing.
