The ultimate catch, a refreshing golden pale ale with a fruity bitterness and lingering aftertaste. Certainly a beer to help create those “one that got away” stories! Brewed with home grown malts and hopped with the fruity Cascade and Goldings hops.

500ml bottle bought at Kjeller 5, Tromsø. Huge, fluffy white head to a clear golden coloured body. Spotty lacing down the glass. Rather restrained aroma of herbal hops. Mild fruit hoppy taste alongside hints of buttery malts. Smooth bittersweet ending, short-lived. Soft carbonated. A little watered palate (shared with Finn H. at his place, Tromsø 27.03.2014).

Duft av bitterhet. tynt dekkende lag med skum. Fin lys gyllen farge. Frisk og leskende drikk, noe vassen, men helt greit drikke øl i sommervarmen.

50cl bottle from Longacres, Windlesham. Straw with a thin white head; grainy aroma with some muted grapefruit; and a similar taste, with perhaps a touch of lime as well. Rather lacklustre and one-dimensional.

500ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Fruity aroma has hints of peach and lemon, a grainy touch. Taste is fruity with cautious hints of peach, a touch of citrus, a dry grainy note, dry hoppy overtones, dry hoppy finish.
