The ultimate catch, a refreshing golden pale ale with a fruity bitterness and lingering aftertaste. Certainly a beer to help create those “one that got away” stories! Brewed with home grown malts and hopped with the fruity Cascade and Goldings hops.

Lett sødmerik lukt med preg av lys malt, humle, korn, høy, gras, mandelessens. Nøytral smak med preg av lys malt, humle, høy, vått korn, surt gras, papp. Middels bitterhet som set litt. Kjedelig.

Medium white head. Deep golden body with carbonation. Strawy citric floral aroma with perfumy earthy notes. Dry-sweet floral lemon zest taste with strawy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish floral lemon zest aftertaste with earthy dandelion notes. Nice, drinkable, maybe a slight bit perfumy. (0.5l bottle, Meny Strømmen Storsenter.)

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo and Veitafan. Has a golden yellow colour with a small off-white head. Have a fruity aroma that is a little cautious, but I find citrus, hay and some light malt. The taste is also somewhat weak where I sence some light malt, hops and corn. Mouth feel is aqueous and smooth, with a slight bitterness. Unfortunately, this was not as good as a golden ale can be and is boring and plain with a light aroma and taste.

0.5l bottle. This is a clear pale golden one with a big-bubbled small just off-white top. Smells quite sweet and almost fruity this. A good amount of sweet grains, some traces of melon zest and not much more really. Not directly mellow, but not extreme. It's average on the carbonation with big-bubbled bubbles - like the one you find in mineral water, and a soft light watery mouthfeel. Soft metallic-bitter with a decent amount of sweet mild fruitiness. Some pine cones and citrus near the finish. A good example of it's genre. To bad the genre is extremely dull and generic. 15.02.2013

50cl bottle from Meny Ringnes park. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, fruits with some hoppy notes and hints of caramel and citrus. Medium sweet and malty with a slightly citrusy and bitter finish. Refreshing and sessionable ale, but nothing special. --- Beer merged from original tick of Angler's Reward on 18 Mar 2013 at 19:12 - Score: 6

Expertly hopped pale ale, not too much, not too little. Smooth in its fruity taste, plenty of tropical nose and flavour. Golden with no head.

Lovely looking pint - clear golden body, crisp white head. Bit of citrus on the nose and taste, fruity and bitter afterwards.

Gravity fed pint into a UK sleeve in the superb ’Bell’, Eccleshall, Staffordshire on 5th April 2012 during a mini-beerfestival. Light amber/pale golden body, bright and clean looking: small head, but it was gravity poured don’t forget. The nose was of citrusy hops (pink grapefruit?) and some summer fruitness. The taste was a good blend of flavours, those citrus hops mentioned in the smell were there as was the fruitiness but so were the malt content ensuring the beer wasn’t too dry or hoppy. Easy drinking brew: sadly I was on a mission and could only sample the single pint before moving onto other beers.
