A heady mix of Wold grown Barley, Wheat and Cara malt hopped with Goldings and Styrian hops give the beer its soft, fruity flavour with a hint of spice. This is the beer to drink whilst basking in the sun on bank holidays or any days!

Clear golden colour. There’s a definite grassiness in the aroma and also a sweet, spiciness. Body is quite light and thin. Flavour has a sweet and fruity edge and a dry yeastiness in the finish. I appreciate the relative depth and complexity of this one but it’s not to my taste.

Cask at British Oak, Wakefield. Golden yellow colour, foam white head leaving some lacing and fruity, sourish aroma. Sweetish malt and watery caramel taste with some citrusy hop bitterness and biscuity notes. Light bodied, medium carbonation, dry finish. Quite OK.

Small white head. Clear golden body with carbonation. Light floral gooseberry aroma with strawy notes. Dry-sweet grape and peach taste with strawy malty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, slightly fizzy mouthfeel. Dry peachy gooseberry aftertaste with spicy floral notes. Nice, drinkable, full of flavour. (0.5l bottle from Co-op, Whitby.)
