Handpump @Le Bon Bock (Rome). Pours golden with a light and persistent white head. Aroma is fruity, peach, apple, light floral and grass notes. Flavour is quite balanced with fruity notes, medium malt profile with a decent bitter end. Light body, flat. Not good.

Full pint from cask, lobby bar at Mercure Hull Royal Hotel. A grey-golden body, near clear. White tophead leaving lacing rings down the glassware. Smell of fresh fruit and leafy hops. Fresh fruity taste, peach and lemon. Smooth bittersweet finish. Above par for the style (Last drink in Hull 26.11.2015)

500ml bottle: BBE Aug 16. Poured into a UK pint sleeve at home on 27th Sep 15. As the name suggests, this is a gold coloured beer, clean and bright bodied, the head an uneven foam covering of tight, white bubbles. Light malts and subtle hop notes in the aroma and taste, fruity feel and leaning towards sweet in nature. Mild herbal/spice flavourings in the mix as it warmed in the glass. Liked it.

Bottle from Waitrose. Appearance - golden with a decent creamy head. Nose - lemon and butter, buttermilk, in fact. Taste - more buttermilk. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - not particularly unbalanced but not very tasty.
