Tap at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong, Bangkok. Poured a slightly hazy reddish brown colour with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is yeasty, citrus, woody hop. The flavour is moderate sour with a crisp, fresh, biscuit, dough, yeasty, light fruit, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering light sour finish. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at the source courtesy of Jason, thanks! Slightly hazy purple maroon color, tan head. Nice aroma of fresh ripe figs. Taste is softly sour figs, light citrus, light funk. Easily the best fig beer I’ve tried. Delicious.

Sample at the Brookhaven Beer Growler. Pours dark brown, with a thin head. The nose is figs, first and foremost, with some molasses, sour cherries, minerals, and a little pine. Sweet and fruity up front, with a very mild tartness. Medium body, acidic, smooth, with a clean finish. Overall, this is a very unique and tasty beer. The figs are aggressive, and not my thing normally, but this is done well.
