Galactica has always wielded the hop staff with a righteous cause. But there is another who now patrols the universe with hop staff in hand, and Solera’s motives are unclear. Will they join forces, or come to blows in a duel for hop-staff supremacy? Oh no! It looks like blows!! We took the classic Galactica recipe and upped the dry hopping twofold. The result? A burst of hop aromas and flavor that still finishes with the same balanced malt backbone of the original.

Draught @ Ted's Corner Tavern (1/13/20). Faintly cloudy dark amber-copper with foamy off-white head, resin aroma, low carbonation, medium bitter resinous caramel taste, citrus flavor, smooth body, long finish. Very smooth and easy to drink.

Slightly hazy golden beer, white head. Aroma is zesty hop but surprisingly mellow. Taste is grapefruit, hops, some bitter citrus. Doesn't do anything special with the DIPA formula but it's a really nice one.

Can pour into nonic pint glass from Total Wine & More, Danvers. Appearance is very slightly hazy light amber-orange with nice sparkle, finger-width foamy beige head with good retention and trace lacing. Aroma is malty presence--bread with muted caramel, light candied sugar--with mild fruit balance. Taste is fruit, bread, caramel, dank, late offsetting mild bitter. Palate is medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft-to-average carbonation, mild pleasant alcohol warmth, and finish as taste. Overall, toward the malty, dank side of things with fairly strong aroma and flavor but not my favorite mix.

Can from Tap Cap. Pours clear copper with a foamy light beige head. Aroma has a lot of melon and some soft citrus. Nearly full bodied. Smooth. Flavor is mixed melon and citrus with some pale prunus fruits. Peach? Juicily undry. Very hoppy, but moderately bitter. Blind tasting I'd call it a hazy/NE IPA. Really nice flavors.

Mycket god fruktig doft. Underbar frisk doft. Smakar rätt maltigt lite sött å fruktigt. Bra lättdrucken IPA .
