0,5 l bottle labeled as Apostelbräu Emmer. Murky flat red golden in the glass, nearly three finger foamy head. Sweet malt caramell smell. Taste is sweet apple fruity, high carbonated. Getting dry in the second part. Again a high carbonated brew. Remembers me to a cheap Kellerbier. Nothing more to say.

15.12.2015 -- 0.5l bottle as a part of bavarian beer set, marktkauf/edeka. pours a murky amber with a medium off-white head and some lacing. aroma of bread, a hint of banana, sour fruits. flavour of bread, dough, dried fruits, kvass. no bitterness. a weird kind of weizen.
13.04.2018 -- a similar set, 6.49€/6pack, bb 14.09.2018. aroma has some incense stick and solvent, flavour of sourish mirabelle. I think I find it slightly more drinkable now, but still nothing to write home about.

Dunkler, malzig säuerlicher Antrunk. Getreidenoten sind vorhanden, spielen aber keine Hauptrolle. Das wässrige Malz führt, leicht brotiges Ende. 9/8/9/8/11/8

The beer starts fresh and malty. Not too deep, hints of grain, hints of banana, not much depth. Slightly sourish banana in the aftertaste, no bitterness, nice but a bit flat. Ok.

Bottle, courtesy of MiP. Gusher. Pours slightly hazy amber with plentiful but airy off-white head. Clear aroma of rye, banana, and yeast. Sourish, grainy flavour, with estery and ryelike notes and faint touches of hops and banana. Rather watery. Sourish finish. Not bad for a Specialty Grain but not my favourite beer.

Bottle, 5.0%. Citric wheat beer aroma. Cloudy amber colour. Big stable plasticky tan head. The flavour is fat and yeasty with a little banana. A lot like a wheat beer, but quite citric.
