Bottle from an international store in Woking. When we left my son told me that he'd been watching the guy key in the items on the till and he'd input more items than I' purchased. Who knows? Clear brown. Foamy white head sticks to the rim. Aroma is full on chemical strawberry, like a melted ice lolly. Slick sourness. It's initially thoroughly sweet. More lolly than jammy. Some peripheral sourness. Possibly a hint of malts. Light. Thin. Sticky. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Pop.

Al naso arrivano caratteristiche di fragola. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore è inesistente. Il liquido è di consistenza limpida. Il colore è ramato. Il corpo è leggero e scorrevole. Il dolce è pesante. L'amaro è assente e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è normale. La continuità gustativa è appena percepibile. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il retrogusto è leggero. Sul palato si fermano note di miele, agrumi e fragola.

320ml bottle from Ozmen Extra, Firth Park - slightly pinkish amber body with a short lived white top. Big notes of sweet strawberry jam, sugary syrupy mouthfeel and a cloying finish.

25/9/2023. Bottle from Your Local Supermarket, Ipswich. Pours clear deep golden with a lasting white head. The best Istak pour to date but that’s the only real positive. Aroma is sugary, artificial strawberry, vaguely malty, with some musty apple and starbursts sweets. Quite sweet taste, with little by way of actual strawberry present. Light body, watery yet clammy, light spritzy carbonation.

320ml bottle. Clear, minimally redd-ish, orange golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, sugary, artificial, fruity aroma, notes of strawberry, sugared strawberries. Taste is sugary sweet, fruity, notes of sugared strawberries, a touch of fruit acid, citric acid. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth, minimally cloying palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Flattering sweet strawberry flavours are quite tasty, too sweet and sugary - so-so.
