*Old rating. Best before 09.05.12. The beer is malty-caramelly. Easy to drink, fresh and smooth, nice but not too deep.

Yellow body with short head. Caramel in the aroma and in the taste, a little thin but easy drinking.

Screw-cap bottle (donated by Stefan!): Clear, greenish-golden, slowly collapsing fluffy white head; moderate to solid sweetish-grainy nose with a delicate hoppy touch; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; increasing - almost piney - hoppiness in the drier bitter-sweet finish. Good session beer.....

(bottle, merci à Quack-Duck) Clear, golden colour with a tall but collapsing foamy white head. Sweet pale malty aroma with grainy notes and a delicately herbal hoppy touch. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Pale malt-character with grainy spots and herbal notes; quite dry and mildly hop bitter finish. Typical Festbier: a bit boring but without flaws. 19.I.11

bottle from Rapp-Heimdienst. The first Christmas beer this season. Clear golden colour, large and creamy white head. Malty nose. Full-boied, good malty background with hints of honey and vanilla. Eartzhy-resiny hops with a touch of walnuts lead to a nice hoppy finish with a nice herbal-bitter aftertaste. A very nice beer from a reliable brewery.
