Brewed with our friends at Kagua to mark our launch in Japan, this is our first ever collaboration brew and it is a very special one.
With a Denali, Amarillo and Citra base, we’ve also pumped this baby full of yuzu smuggled into Hong Kong by the Far Yeast brewing team. The result is a tropical, juicy explosion of pineapple and yuzu.

Really nice! Yuzu is a kinda sour-bitter citrus hugely famous in Japan. This Hong Kong/ Tokyo collab gets it right.

Can shared with the Bangkok tasting crew. Poured a hazy straw colour with a round bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, big yuzu fruit. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a crisp, fresh, grainy, mineral, metallic, yuzu fruit, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Bottleshare @ Yggdrasil Brewing pre-open. Light yellow pour with a slight haze. Super citric yuzu and fresh nose. Aggressive citric bitterness in taste plus some strong yuzu there. Dry and bitter finish. Bit unbalanced bit interestingly bold use of this pungent fruit.

Can from Brewcraft at home. Slightly hazy straw yellow pour with thin fuzzy head. Aroma is citric zesty pilsner, but not as interesting as expected. Taste has some yuzu but very faint, mostly a hoppy pilsner bite and some slight citrus juiciness. Not bad but disappointing versus the description and recent Gweilo beers.
