*Old rating, best before 07.04.05. Malzig und etwas neutrales Schwarzbier. Leicht süßlich-trocken, malzig-röstmalzig, aber nicht zu tief. Recht viel Kohlensäure. Neutral-malziger Nachgeschmack.

A deep red beer with a hube brown head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel, but also a slight dustyness from the hops. The flavor is sweet and very malty with OK notes of caramel and nuts, leading to a dry bitter end with a slight metallic tinge.

Bottled. Very dark brown, with a beige head. It looks clear. Coffee and roasted malt in the aroma. Boring. Coffee, roasted malt, some bitterness and sweetness in the flavor. Medium body and a dry finish. Decent, but nothing more. (060604)
