Our most popular Double IPA is a hop head’s dream come true. Utilizing a bit of caramel and honey malt to create a delicate and very subtle sweetness, this is an amazingly balanced beer considering its hop-forward nature. We selected a neutral yeast strain to ensure nothing interferes with the intense tropical juiciness of this choice mix of citrus hops. Dry, drinkable, and dangerous.

Can from Albertsons. Normal appearance, nothing special here. Aroma is sour citrus, with a touch of funk. Pineapples are closest. Taste brings more of the citrus, along with the drying hops. Some sour, some funk, some sweet. Complex with a long lingering finish.

Can from Total Wine, North Miami, Florida, USA. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, grapefruit aroma. Tastes similar, hoppy, malty, grapefruit, with a slight sweetness. Very nice DIPA.

Pour is a reddish with a average white head. Aroma is a nice blast of hops with some onion and green apple. Flavor is again a nice hop but then comes a heavy sweet caramel malt. Another IPA where the malt bill is just a bit to heavy and sweet. In the world of Impy IPA’s this is just average. The aroma was better then the flavor. The malt’s just took everything away from the hops.

650ml bottle from Saveur-biere

Pours clear golden orange with a smooth head. Aroma of resinous hops, grass, tropical fruits, floral notes and citrus. Taste is resinous, crisp and grassy with some floral notes and tropical fruitness. Finish is malty, crisp and lingering bitter with some grassy hoppiness. Okay, slightly unbalanced DIPA.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours orange copper with a slight off-white head. Aroma is citrus/earth/floral. Med body. Flavor is lightly roast caramel with a lot of mixed hop. Heavy on citrus/pine/earth. Dry and bitter. Very hoppy indeed.

Deep golden with a white head - Nice hop aroma with fruits - a good malt body to support a good hop profile with a lot of citrus and a good bitterness - Lingering dry hop finish - This was good

22oz bomber pours with a crystal clear copper body that has gold hued edges and supports a tall tan head of foam. The aroma is orange juice cut with grapefruit and lighter notes of malts, lime and faint caramel malts. The taste begins with a rush of malt sweetened citrus with grapefruit, tangelo and orange. Those notes are laced oddly with a caramel maltiness with a thin ribbon of butterscotch and this seems to distract from the overall experience by a small amount. This tastes a bit flawed but I’m still diggin’ this diggity.
