Ride with us into juicy carnage. Brett funk unites with sour cherry to lead the charge. Subtle notes of hazelnut bring up the rear and fade to malty nuttiness. And a hint of whisky
wins the day.

Bottle, 7.5%. Appearance is murky dark brown, with a tiny fizzy head. Aroma is blackberry, cherry skin, lots of fruity skins, tannin, bit of malt. Taste is tart fruit, juicy berry, lots of cherry, blackberry cheesecake, woody earthy malt hints. Lip-puckering finish.

330ml bottle. Zesty, tart and funky with some sweet cherries, loads of nuts and hints of sourness. Interesting, quite untypical.

Really impressive, German chocolate cake nose, cherries and nuts very clear. Hazelnut and chocolate tartness, with the sour black cherry

Keg at BD Inverurie. It pours darkest brown with a small off-white head. The aroma is tangy, tart, bright, zingy, dark fruits, damson, plum, jammy, vimto, nuttiness, tangy whisky, toasty, oak, earth and sour candy. The taste is dry, tart, tangy, puckering, sherbet, sour candy, cherry, plum, damson, blackcurrant, oily, toothy, some funk and must with a tangy dark fruit finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Interesting stuff. Enjoyable but not sure how much I could drink of it.

Keg at Brewdog Merchant City. Pours dark red-brown with a thin white head. Strong aromas of woody funk and red fruit. Taste is sharp sour, wood and fruit. Sherbetty finish. Nose sends you one way, taste is something else.
