A ruby hued sour blended in the darkest depths of winter. As dry as a Spring dawn and packed as tight as a punnet with whole Scottish blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Bursting with fresh berry jam notes and subtle Brett funk tartness. Culminating in a sweet but devishly dry finish.
Perennial Punnet - Fruited fatalism.

Bottled 355ml (Alko web) Murky orange-yellow colour, small vanishing white head. Tart, a bit fruity nose. Maybe some white plums. Medium-bodied. Tart, plums, figs, wood in the flavour. Kind of pleasant mouthfeel but flavour is very simple for this kind of expensive beer.

500ml bottle. Stuffy, slightly earthy and yeasty with some tart muddy notes, figs, honey and oak. A bit unbalanced and not very good.

50cl. Nice intense sourness. Fruity figs and dates sour in the back, honey only in hints. Fruity mild finish, easy to drink, deep fruity sourness in the end. Nice intense sour brew.

Keg at Brewdog Canary wharf. A hazed reddy amber coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is tart orange, woody notes. Mellow funk, orange peel, sharp citrus, gummy bears. Flavour is composed of sharp citrus, lemon rind, clean sourness, tangy fruit, hint of woodland berries, paalte is sharp, clean lacto, highish prickly carbonation. Later I got a big earthy honey note on the nose.

Keg at BD Union Sq. It pours hazy rich orange with a dissipating white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, sour, tangy, tart, honeycake, vinous, red wine, musty, funk, berry, figgy pudding and some saltiness. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, puckering, sherbert, zingy, minerality, plenty of berry, figgy pudding, lactic, vinous, red wine, splash of acidity, funk and oak with a drying finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation.. Good depth. Vibrant and moreish. Nice stuff.
