Don't touch me, 'cause I'm electric. And if you drink me, you'll get shocked! Experience pure uncut lupulin powder. In their clandestine lab, in the wild of Yakima, the crew processed Mosaic + Simcoe hops into alpha acid pow pow. The Melvin Crew inhaled deep, and the legend of the hop shocker was born.

Hm, nice enough - not too bitter, but also don't get the citric qualities of those hops. Good body and a slightly boozy finish.

Pour is a clear golden with a large white head. Aroma is all mosaic fruity hop goodness with a little typical green onion. Flavor is again a big hit of fruity mosaic hop. No bitterness or alcohol, even though this has simcoe powder in it, this beer is all about the mosaic power. If mosaic is your hop then this beer is for you.

Burk Dipa provning biskoppsbacken . Ljus Dipa. Doftar tungt av blöt ladugårdsplan. I munnen smakar det cederträplanka. Blommig , viol och rosor kanske?. Lite Oväntade smaker från Melvin bryggeriet. Gooood

355ml can [as "Hop Shocker", 8.0%]. Minimally milky, brass colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Caramel malty and slightly perfumed, citrusy and fruity, hoppy aroma, jelly bear-like hints of pineapple, mandarine. Taste is bitter and fruity hoppy, sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty backbone, minimally artificial, jelly bear-like fruity notes of pineapple and mandarine, a citrusy touch; concentrated lupulin finish with liquorice touch. Slightly restricted, almost a bit aseptic hop flavours; hop varieties cut off their characteristics: not much orange (Simcoe), no tropical aspects (Mosaic).

330 ml can from Beerox bottle shop, Riga. Pours clear golden-yellow, some white foam on top. Pretty transparent and does not really look like a serious IPA. Surprise-surprise! Fresh fruity and tropical nose, light pear, mango and papaya. Damn, thats good. Tastes light, sweetish tropical fruits, good hop character and bitterness to balance that out. Quite dry overall, so this one is dangerously easy to drink. 8.1% is not a joke but drinks like something much less potent. Melvin at its best (and Melvin has been great!).
