Bottle from Redh. Appearance - deep amber to brown. Beige head. Nose - brown bread, toffee and vanilla. Taste - creamy caramel and vanilla. Just a hint of brown bread or biscuit. Palate - close to medium bodied, a little sweet but with some roastiness on the finish. Overall - ok.

Many thanks to Mark. Nice dry body. Caramel, moderate bitterness with nice roasted parts. Round and dry, malty and sessionable. Nice.

Cask at The Crown, Horsell. Vague malt aroma. Light chestnut with a thin and blotchy off-white head. Sweet. A hint of bitterness he finish, which gradually becomes more prevalent. Caramel, hops and spices, although somewhat restrained. Light bodied. Soft. Long finish. Nice enough. I guess it’s got the seasonal spices going on.
