Joars Dricka är en öl kryddad med torkade blad från pors och honung som på vikingarnas tid. Joar var en riddare som levde i trakterna kring Enköping på 1200-talet. Från sin borg på ön Gröneborg kontrollerade han sjöfartn på Mälaren. På Joars tid var pors den vanligaste ölkryddan.

How: Bottle.
Where: Systembolaget.
Appearance: Golden colour with a white head.
Aroma: Spices, yeast, sweet gale, malt.
Body: Medium body and carbonation..
Flavour: Spices, malt, sweet gale, yeast.

Bottle from Systembolaget beställningssortiment. (my first one from this brewery) Hazy golden with a small white head. Sweet with bog myrtle, honey and some notes of yeast. The bitterness was light. I am not that used to drink beer with bog myrtle (pors) but this was an ok one.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear golden, mid sized head. Rich aroma of bog myrtle. Mid sweet with light-medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Honey and bog myrtle. Low bitterness.
