Bottle courtesy of Maciej. Fairly clear amber pour with a small offwhite head. 2016 vintage. Malty smokey nose with caramel, smoked meats, prunes, hay & light alcohol. Sweet, tiny bitter, malty, fruity & smokey taste. Soft, round & tiny boozy mouthfeel. Very soft & round. Perfect blend of malt, smoke & dark dried fruits. Not sure if age has improved it but seems a bit underrated.

Bottle, at hackobock tasting. Clear amber, small creamy head. Salami, coal fire and white pepper up front. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Lightly fruity, some caramel. Lots of smoked ham and salami. Mildly warming finish. Rich and harmonious.

Butelka 0,5 z datą ważności do 31.03.2017 ( więc wyleżakowane) temperatura degustacji 14-16 stopni +, szkło snifter. BARWA: ciemna czerwona miedź wpadajaca w brunatny, klarowne. PIANA: jasno beżowa, obfita, drobno pęcherzykowa, trwała, zbija się w korzuszek opadając delikatnie zdobi szkło. AROMAT: po otwarciu butelki wędzonka (wędzone owoce) trochę przypomina kompot z suszek, słodka słodowość wpadajaca w nuty miodowe, piwo cały czas się otwiera, jak się ogrzało wędzonka bardziej przypomna ser wędzony do tego wszystkiego delikatna szlachetna alkoholowość. SMAK: bogata słodka słodowość, gorzka czekolada, balansowa krótką ziołowo-przyprawową goryczką o alkoholowo-likierowym finiszu, i oczywiście wędzoność która sprawia że jest niezwykle pijalne, gładkie, aksamitne, wysycenie średnie do niskiego, Bardzo dobre, genialne, ambrozja.

On tap at Luppolo Station, Rome-Italy. 2016 vintage keg. Tobacco leaf color quite misty with a minimal foam. The aroma is quite marked by the smoky with some dried fruit on the back. The mouth is a bit weak imo, even watery somehow (aging?) even if quite in style for a BW. It feels like caramel and raisins. Ok

0,5l from bottle at a party. BB 31.03.2017. dark brown colour, small tan head. smells smoked, earthy, caramel, green peppers. nice smell overall. Full Body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes smoky, caramel, spices, earthy, nutty, marzipan. finishes lightly sweet with notes of caramel and earthy notes. nice but also a bit weird. overall drinkable but not totally convincing.

Bottle 500ml. @ [ (PBF XI) by oh6gdx - Petalax ]. [ As Artezan Preparat ].Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, wood, smoke. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary, smoked, meat - bacon smoked. Bottle shared by Lukka19. Aroma smoky, tobacco, woody. Strong, intense. Almost no head, lightly hazy ruby-brown colour. Taste is intense flavour-wise, also sufficiently complex. Lots of smoke, wood, dried fruits, raisins. Surprisingly easy drinking, relatively thin bodied considering the style and ABV. Very good.
