Bottle at home. Aroma is lots of smoked malt, big caramel, dried fruity notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Slightly boozy. Body is full. The smoke is strong with this one, has some typically Barley Wine-ish dried fruity notes but it’s more of a strong Rauchbier.

Totalne rozczarowujace barley wine od Artezana, zreszta nie juz pierwszy raz. Wedzenia nie uswiadczysz, wykielkowaly nozki i wszystkie sliwki, czy to byly wedzone, suszone cazy normalne, poszly sobie gdzies precz, moze na Krym, moze do palacu putina. W kazdym razie wedzenia tu totalnie brak, niczym przewagi militarnej carskiej rosji nad dzielna Ukraina. Piana srednia srednio trwala, bordowy odcien, dosc bardzo ciemny, i mocno metny nawet jak na barley wine, ale to zdecydowanie za malo.

27/12/2019 - draught glass @Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Cloudy dark brown, tanned head; Nose is lots of smoke, malts, caramel. Taste is first fleshy smoke, dark malts, fruits, medium creamy. Nice. Smoke gets softer and gentle after the first sip. Nice balance

O, znalazlem :) wedzonki mniej niz pamietam. Karmelowo-landrynkowo-suszowo utlenione costam. Ma nadal cialo. Duza slodycz. Nie no, to sie fajnie starzeje, bardziej mi niz tegoroczny ten lezaczek.

Solid full big beer and it tastes like it. Perhaps a bit too finishing sweet, but the flavours that are there are spot on. Artezan warsaw

Borefts XI Day 2 . Keg. Hazy amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a light creamy sweetness, modest bitterish toffee. Nice mellow smooth smoke. Ripe cherry liqueur underneath everything else. Cocoa? Yeah - if your looking for it. Smooth and slightly spicy finish. Interesting barleywine.

On tap at OMBF 2018, Krakow. Pours brown with off-white head. Caramel, some smoke, malty, some light fruit notes, not so complex. Sweet. Soft carbonation. Medium+ bodied.

500ml Bottle - Dark amber/red. Smoky aroma with notes of beech, leather and dried fruit. Malty, fruity and moderately smoky taste with dates, raisins, plums and leather detected.

30cl on tap at the brewpub. Medium creamy tan head. Clear black pour. Smokey aroma and aftertaste. Very good.

Clear pale brown beer, no head. Aroma: very smoky, nice fruity notes, raisins; MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: super smoky, camp fire, hay, grains, malty. Aftertaste: more smoke, little sweet, some dried fruits, soft bitterness.
