Bottle. Hazy yellow golden, medium small white head, not so lasting. A bit yeast nose with some mild fruity presence. Slight smoke and bread. Medium bitterness, a bit fruity and slightly yeatsy. Lighter body, slight warmth and some yeasty aftertaste. Nice one.

Draft sample; Smells very traditional/authentic, quite similar to the Westmalle, the mother of tripels but less complex, smooth yeast profile in marriage with malt sweetness; sweet bread & grains, honey, sweet apple & pear drop, earthy notes underneath

On tap @ Ghetto Something. Aroma is peppery, dusty, phenolic, dried fruity, caramelly and slightly funky. Pours cloudy golden color with large soapy white head and good lacing. Taste starts medium sweet caramelly and toasted, follows by banana, dried fruit and yeast with smooth and warm mouthfeel. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. Feels better than classic Belgian tripels...

Flaska från SB. Blekguldig, klar med vit krona. Typisk karaktär från en tripel: jäst, sötma, lite skumbanan, snällt metallisk ton, alkoholvärme. Åt det torrare och stramare hållet för en tripel. Något lättare och samtidigt mycket av smak som spretar lite. Kul att Stigbergets gör tripel, men kanske något enkelt.

Keg at Stigbergets Fot, Stockholm. Hazy golden, small head. Peppery nose with canned pineapple and marzipan. Mid dry with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Elderflowers and marzipan, notes of bread and paper. Mild peppery finish. Quite elegant.
