Clear golden with a big white head. Yeasty fruity aroma with some malts. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Bit artificial and industrial tasting, appealing to the Leffe and Duvel drinkers I guess. Although it's better than most Leffe's it's no match for Duvel.

@home poured into a tulip glass. Clear pale golden colour, tall moussy off-white head, good retention, light lacing. Aroma sweet malt, yeast, light orange, banana, caramel, cloves. Taste light light heavy sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, banana, metallic notes, alcohol notes. Prickly mouthfeel, medium to full-bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, more bitterness in the finish, some orange peel, alcohol notes, coriander seed, pepper and old curry powder, cardboard, hmm not that bad but neither something to remember, overall an average strong ale.

Bottle at home. Clear golden color, full sized yet quickly diminishing white to off-white head. Aroma and flavor are malts, malty bitter, straw, lightly dusty bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Alright.

Clear to little cloudy orange blond beer, small creamy irregular unstable, off-white head, unstable. Aroma: oxidized, malty, orange peel, grains, hay, caramel notes. MF: very lively carbon, medium body. Taste: malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, bit watery, some caramel, sweet. Aftertaste: sweet, malts, grains, alcohol.

Victoria is AB-InBev’s new attempt to corner the much desired market share of Duvel. Referencing the original name of Duvel and the label has an angel killing the devil (?) I take it. Hazy golden beer, solid white head, bit less so than Duvel and bit less lively. Nose is metallic, almost corn sweet, burlap sack, heavy esters and stale grainy, not too promising. Very high carbonation, unpleasant harsh jenever alcohol, phenolic, esters, raw, corn, plastic, no fines,… Marketing yes but otherwise explosive carbonation, phenolic, esters & cheap jenever alcohol so pretty much everything I dislike about this kind of poorly made boozy blond Belgian beers so no surprise that I would pick Duvel any day over this.

Bottle from LDW, Eke. Clear golden colour, white foam. Rather sweet, a medium bitter finish. A bit industrial but not a bad effort from Inbev although it has nothing to do with the taste of a Duvel.
