Minimal beige head on a translucent, still, copper coloured body. Dark fruit aroma with hints of hops. Medium bodied, smooth on the palate & sharper on the back. Malt forward with dark fruit, slightly vinous, sherry - almost Barley Winr style. Not too bad.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear amber color with thick creamy white head and soft visible carbonation. Aroma is mild floral, grassy, fruity and toffeeish. Taste starts medium sweet and sour grainy with ripe fruit note, following is grassy and herbal, mouthfeel is crisp. while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Not a weirdo, but a fine tasting Beardo...

0,33 l bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with big white dissipating head. Aroma is mainly stale soap, some fruitiness and light bread and malt. Taste is light sweet, rather strange medium annoying metallic harsh bitterness. Body is light to medium with slick texture and average carbonation. Finish is medium long and quite bitter.

330ml bottle from Morrisons. Pours clear gold, white head. Caramel, light fruit aroma. Taste is light, caramel, fruity yeast, low-hops, some rich alcohol notes. Yeah, not an IPA really, more in tune with a fruity ESB.

Bottle, 0.33l. Clear copper pour with very visible carbonation. One finger soapy white head, good retention, good lacing. On the nose definitely not an IPA, it’s Bitter. Earthy, grainy with some cardboard notes to it. Medium body with somewhat aggressive carbonation. Lively on the tongue, otherwise regular texture. Mildly bittersweet. Some malty sweetness at first, hints of sugar even. Developing into subtly bitter combination of hops, grassy and earthy. Some woody notes in there too, a bit cardboard. Unpleasant stale water aftertaste, some weird off tartness too. Dry mouthfeel and finish. Overall, drinkable, but quite average. Why this one is labeled as an IPA is beyond me, tho.
