Beardo Cultivating the finest facial furniture is a complex task. The discerning beard wearer deserves a tipple of hoppy intensity to complement their efforts. Cut through the fuzz with hits of a fruity citrus zing. An IPA for serious Beardos.

Pours clear amber, topped with a medium small white foamy head. Mildly biscuity nose with some sweet peaches. Mild fruity sweet start, gentle bitterness and a bit herbal in teh aftertaste. A bit grassy. Not bad. Decent drinkable beer.

A strong "craft branded" IPA, but to me it was more like an ESB. Bitter hops, malt and a nice mouthfeel that made for a pleasant beer.

330ml bottle. Light amber with a large off white head. Aroma is fruity, orange and pineapple. Flavour has those too, but also some toffee malt. Ok

33cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell. A golden amber pour with a loose white head; musty caramel aroma; grainy body with a caramel taste and a touch of barley sugar; and a twiggy bitterness with obvious alcohol on the finish.

330ml bottle at home on 18th March 2017. Poured into an American pint glass sleeve: clear golden body, smooth white blanket of foam on top. Good hop profile, more piney than fruity or citrusy (pleased about that). Clean and bitter throughout. Glad to say this another Robinsons beer that I’ve liked: had problems in the past with some of their brews, might have to revisit some of their cask products again.

Bottle. Morrisons. Crystal clear gold. Film of white head. Nose has crystal malts. Hint of fruit. Some earthy hop. Taste is mostly sweet. Some metal bitterness. Greasy, yet fizzy. Sweet finish. Grim, frankly.

17/01/2017. 330ml bottle. Pours a clear amber/gold colour with a small white head. Aroma: malty and fruity citrus hops. Taste: also starts quite malty but fruity hops come through, citrus, hint of pine. Medium body, drinkable but hardly "intense".
