This year a decision was made to give a young Dutch brewery the opportunity to make an easy drinking yet special beer. The Muifelbrouwerij from Berghem has made this top fermented beer using the Sint Servattumus brewing facilities. The beer was warm fermented and has additional bottle fermentation. The yeast sediment in the bottle may be served. The beer has a warm, fruity flavour and a slightly bitter finish. With an alcohol level of 7.7% it’s a solid, tasty festival beer that deserves to be served cool (7-12C).

This Tripel has an amber colour and a sweet, syrupy aroma. The flavour is quite sweet and has plenty of red fruit and a bit of candy. Aftertaste is a bit musty and unfresh.
