Fles gekregen van Randyb. Het is een donker geel bier met een volle schuimkraag. Het heeft een moutige smaak, licht zoet.

Bottle @ home. Orange to amber colour with a small white head. Smells malts and spices. Mostly malts though. Tastes malty, sweet, very slightly liquorice, very slightly juniper berry. Not a very distinct taste. Hard to say how it compares to the original or other beers in the style. Not very interesting though. Medium body, soft to medium carbo.

Blond with a light haze. Aroma and flavour are full of fresh pale malts. There’s a light citrusy hoppy taste but it’s very much in the background.

Bottle shared by a friend, who got it from the brewer, large sample. Hazy orange to amber color, medium frothy head. Aroma of caramel, bit sulphury yeast, slight spicy, hint of orange peel and licorice root, but not as much as I expected from earlier homebrew examples of the style. Slight sweet in taste, soft bitterness, caramel, slight metallic. Quite boring beer. According to my friend, the beer was much spicier (and better) from tap.
