Draft at Acido Acida, in Ferrara, Italy. Pours almost black with no foam. Aroma is toasted, suggesting barrel ageing and brettanomyces. Body is highly dense with virtually no carbonation. Taste is intensely sweet with some sour. Wonderful. Finish is long and sweet.

Draught @ Hop City 2018, Leeds. Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of bourbon, roasty malts, licorice, bretta and vanilla. Taste is smooth and roasty, slightly funky with some farmyard, tartish notes, bretta, bourbon, wood and oak. Finish is smooth and sweetish with some funky yeastiness, wood, bourbon and vanilla. Interesting. A nice palate cleanser after all the hoppy beers. --- Beer merged from original tick of Double Agent (with Brett) on 30 Mar 2018 at 15:06 - Score: 8. Black with soapy head. Aroma of Brett funk and white wine/grapes. Texture is thick and oily. Flavour is pleasantly boozy and there plenty of sweet Bourbon and bitter dark malts.
