pours dark from church key. some all spice fruit and malt. a bit thin overall

Draught at Torst: pours black with small head. Aroma is caramel, raisins, dark fruit. Taste has some smoked meat, fruity jam. Not overly sweet. Pretty solid. Loads of banana.

At a tasting, thanks, smallish head, dark brown color with reddish hues, aroma of clove and nutmeg with a cakey maltiness, spicey cake flavor with some cola and a hint of chocolate. Not heavy and quite blalnced for the style, enjoyable.

Black with no head. Aroma and flavour have a lot of sweet spices. Especially cloves. Technically a good beer but just not to my taste.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thank troubles. Dark brown. Caramel, winter spices - nutmeg, clove and more, sweet, medium-bodied. OK.

Bottle. Dark brown pour. Spicey aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon, rye, malt and candisugar. Taste of sweet nutmeg, cinnamon, mild pepper, rye, malt, raisin, candisugar and a bitter spicey finish. Quite heavy on the spices, but in a nice way. Good beer.

Botella 33 cl en el kraken 25..12..2016. Lote 16449 sin Fcpref. (r01). Color oscuro casi negro con muy poca espuma beige. Aromas y sabores maltosos tostados con muy ligero ahumado y sobre todo gran predominio de caramelos tostados y especias, que según pone la etiqueta con la pimienta de Jamaica el clavo la nuez moscada y el azúcar candy, se notan en exceso. Muy especiada con un cuerpo medio que a medida que calienta se intensifica algo. 10. 1 vol que se notan al final. Bastante original, cerveza navideña especias donde las haya. No está mal.
