Our first brew and one that was born out of our quest for uncompromising quality. A wonderfully golden session ale with fresh malt and hop aroma, leading to a satisfying bitter finish. Maris Otter dominates the malt bill, backed by heaps of Cascade and Centennial hops.

Hand-pulled pint in The Horse and Farrier, Otley on 1st June 2019. Golden/light amber body, foaming white crown. Nice 'bog standard English Pale Ale' with a decent blend of hops and malts (no messing about with citrusy flavours).

Cask at the Alma, Harwich. Poured a slightly hazy light amber with a thin broken white head. The aroma is malt, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a light watery malt, yeast, light woody, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Not particularly great. I get the feeling that this beer was not at its best.
