All day pale. The Sauvignon Bkanc of beer. The New Zealand hops are grown in the same region as the famous kiwi Sauvignon Blanc. Powerfully dry-hopped for a floral finish. Crisp and dry with a fresh-cut grass aroma.

Big offwhite head. Clear yellow body with a few floaties. Resiny gooseberry aroma with dusty mealy notes. Dryish fruity resiny gooseberry taste with grassy herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish mealy rubbery fruit aftertaste with herbal notes. The rubber is really very prominent, and kind of spoils it for me. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Oslo City.)

0.5l bottle. Yupp, it's a pale one alright. Pale golden and only a little blurr, pretty close to clear actually. Also, it has a small little bubbly and lacing bright white top. On the nose I get a fair amount of pale malts and wet grass. It's not directly fresh this bottle so I get a little bit of the metallicness often found in these as well. A bit harsh and there is definitely traces of diacetyl here. Other than that I think this smells like it should. Not unpleasant to drink either. It's of course a bit thin and near watery in the mouth, but it suits the flavors. Grassy bitterness, cause it it quite citrus bitter this, dry English caramel, traces of the bitter white zest found on grapefruits and traces of metal blended with herbal tea. Easy to drink in the smmerly sun, but not a go-to summer beer for me. For that I have other alternatives. 25.04.2014

Light unclear pale golden color with a fine white head. Good lacing. Very inviting and fresh aroma. Citric and mild malty. Quite ok body for and ale at 4,2%. Moderate sweet and a fresh bitterness. Nice fresh flavor with some citrus, fruity and mild malty. Nice one.

Cask @ Kitty’s
Aroma has citrusy hops, some gooseberry bush and hay. Perhaps some caramel too. Flavour has herbal bitterness, some grapefruit and gooseberry bush leaves. I do not like the herbal bitterness here, but decent stuff anyway.

Bottle from Morrisons. Clear, pale, straw colour. Thin, filmy, white head. Fresh, grassy and lemony. Some nettle. Clean, lively palate. Taste is dry, with a little yeast. Light bitterness, with a touch of astringency, at the end. Lovely session beer.
