A Pooch is not only a LOC IPA it’s also the nickname for the General Electric P30CH locomotives. So termed by the similar appearance of the model name to the word pooch: P30CH / POOCH. The Pooch was meant to be a Pale Ale but due to an incident in the sparging process we managed to produce less then estimated. This IPA is fermented with a mix of WB-06 and S-04 and hopped with Mosaic and El Dorado hops.

Keg at the GBBF 2018 day 5 11/08/2018. A milky yellow coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is nice floral pineapple, pear, soft bready malts, wheat, perfumme. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, wheat, pineapple, lychee soft wheat. Palate is semi sweet, delicate, highish carbonation. Nice one.

Opaque straw blond with thin soapy head. Flavour has a lot of citrus pith. The beer comes alive in the finish with greater hop intensity and juicy orange and tropical fruit.
