Aroma is a decent mix of cherry and sour ale but finesse is missing, as is often the case with American re-creation of Belgian styles. It looks good, but the head disappears very fast. Flavour is lots of sour notes with red cherry hints but, and again, but it all kind of falls over itself. They barely have a handle on what is going on, and it shows. Decent finish, medium but sweet. It has some promise but is nowhere near a true Belgian kriek.

750 c&c from Bine & Vine. Pours dark cherry color with a beige head. Tart cherry aroma. Med body or so. Flavor is tart cherry. Not all that acidic. Cherries don't seem to be super sour cherries. It's very pleasant, and has a good cherry flavor. A very drinkable sour. Mildly funky.

On tap at Cascade. Hazy reddish with a small head. Sweetish with cherries, oak and funk. Dry and refreshing.
