We looked to the USA west coast for this IPA style. Big flavours rule, so we use all-American citrus hops for a powerful orangey taste. Look out for floral notes too in this highly drinkable beer.

Tap at the Brewery Tap in Tullamore. The aroma is frankly weed. Not nice. Lagery look. Taste is vegetables. Citra not used well. Passable if not paying attention

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - golden with a nice lacy head. Nose - light biscuits and lemon. Slight farmyard thing. Taste - a touch of pineapple or melon maybe. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy texture. Finish is fairly balanced. Overall - it's not bad.

Can shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of... not very much. Light biscuit malt. Smells like a golden ale. Taste has some light hop character. Faint lime. Thin finish.

Keg at Russels bar, Dundalk, 22/09/18. Golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is grassy, light citric pith, tangerine, straw, grains. Taste comprises toasted grains, pale malts, lemon rind, grass, hint of orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with modest hop bitterness. Poor attempt at the style ... entry level gateway garbage ... citra ? Really ? Calorie waster !
