Very pale yellow, no head. Aroma of wet paper, flat fruit, light apple and pear. Body is flat, and the finish is a touch cloying, and a light tartness. Meh.

Pours a clear yellow/green with no head. Not much of an aroma, just sweet pear flavour and not even very potent at that. I expected more of a pear taste. This is very much like cheap champagne.

Appearance: Clear straw yellow with a one finger tall white head of low retention. Aroma: Overripe pears, slight funk, vinous notes. Taste: Medium dry. Not intense. Overripe pears, slightly vinous. Mouth feel: Light to medium body, average to lively carbonation. Overall: Better smellin than tasting.

33cl bottle at Megastar. Pours clear, pale straw coloured with a fast dissipating, white head. Mild aroma of pears, rather sweet and somewhat watery. Drinkable, but not much to write home about.

Aus der Flasche 2018-08 getrunken. Dieses ganz hell messingfarbende Pear ist nicht mehr als ein Durstlöscher. Das Fruchtaroma ist sehr undeutlich ausgearbeit dafür ist die Säure gut dosiert.

White yellow. Aroma is pear vanilla raisins. Not much. Taste is tart pear and apple. Chalky on the tongue. Tart but ok.

Just had the Growers Pear cider, so comparing with this one that gets more points. Some colour, very light golden with fast going head. The aromas are way more yeasty than the pear juices. The taste is the same with hints of wood. Yeah, not my thing. Much preferred the Growers version.

Sampled from 0.568 l bottle, best before November 2018. Clear, like water with a few white bubbles on top. Sweetish, a little sourish, moderately fruity and a bit artificial aroma of chemical pear and some green apples. Moderately sweet, a little sourish, moderately fruity and a little artificial taste of pear and some green apples, followed by a short, slightly tart, moderately dry finish. Thin body, moderately effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Quite okay actually.
