ABV: 5.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, cocoa, dark malt, moderate roasted. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, milk chocolate, dark malt, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20200120]

Cask @ Minerva Hotel, Hull. Almost black with a brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt and coffee. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and roasted moderate bitter finish. Oily. 120220

Cask @ Hotel Minerva, Hull. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, little caramel, some lactose, hops and has a sweet roasty finish.

Cask at GRAF. Black with a bubbly tan head. Chocolate aroma, flavour in chocolate and vanilla. Very nice

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Black with an off-white creamy head. It's a denser tasting stout and has understated and slightly dry roasted malts.

Black with thick creamy head. Aroma and flavour have a lot sweet, caramelised malts. Can definitely get the lactose sweetness. Rich and creamy.
