🐼 at home thanks to Cloin. Pours jet black with a dirty tan swirl. Aroma is chocolate, vanilla, Strawberry jam, fudge, marshmallow. Taste is lots of syrupy strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, fudge. Probably a little too syrupy sweet for me. Reasonable pastry impy though

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 13/08/23. Black with a tan cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is dark malts, figs, chocolate, booze, light spice, coffee, red berries. Taste comprises dark chocolate, brown sugars, molasses, spice, mellow roast, dried fruits, strawberries, vanilla, toffee crisp. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Big punchy impy stout that delivers the Neopolitan vibe well.

22/7/2023. Bottle shared at SBGP3. From Beerdome online store. Pours close to black with a small tan coloured head. Big strawberry aroma during the pour, with chocolate, vanilla, caramel, roasted malts. Medium plus sweetness and moderate bitterness. Full bodied, smooth, soft carbonation. Warming boozy Neapolitan finish. Enjoyable. Glad this wasn’t infected.

Can fromChris M: pours explosive black with brown head. Aroma is strawberry and chocolate. Hints of infection. Still it is basically drinkable.

500ml bottle. Pitch black colour with slightly late awakening, small, frothy, fading, brown head. Sweet-ish, fruity and chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of strawberry, some vanilla, milk chocolate; reminds of ice cream traded under the name Fürst Pückler in Germany. Taste is sweet, fruity, dark malty, initial notes of strawberry, vanilla, milk chocolate are supplemented by notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate, a touch of cherry, caramel; lingering, fruity and chocolately finish. Oily to viscous texture, smooth and soft, creamy, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation with minimally prickly portion. Very fruity with natural and artificial shares, quite sweet, but matching with the idea of Neapolitan Ice Cream. Again a beer you are not surprised to find if you have some experience with Craft Beer and especially Pastry Impy Stouts - but also a beer that is appropriate to become melancholic. If you grew up with Pilsener or Bitter or another classical style, you might think about your expectations what a real beer is and what not - without judgement: Where are we going to? It is fascinating what brewers make possible. But do we need liquid Neapolitan Ice Cream if we can have real ice cream instead? If I want to have a beer for knocking-off time I want something different. Better quality is highly welcome. All this freaky stuff is quite esoteric. Understand me right: We could adapt our drinking habits as well.

31/7/20: More violet stuff, and more Neapolitan! Less intense than the Cycle, but slightly less balanced too. Sweet, lots of strawberry candy and creamyness / lactose. Some milky chocolate flowing through as well. Very nice dessert beer.

7/5/22: Basically what I remember, but a bit more smoothened out with age. Lots of sweet strawberry ice cream, some chocolate, and a good scoop of vanilla. Very flavourful, very easy, but somewhat glad to share. Does get a bit intense.

Black and oily with no head. All the promised flavours of Neapolitan ice cream are there in abundance. The thick oily texture really helps mimic the feeling of melted ice cream. Very sweet.
