Egy sört reggelire? A Morning Joe az első állandó sötét sörünk, a rengeteg limitált és nemzetközi együttműködésben készült barna és fekete főzet után. A breakfast stout egy viszonylag lazán értelmezett sörstílus. Lényege, hogy egy alap stoutot olyan hozzávalókkal egészítenek ki, amelyek egy amerikai reggeli részei lehetnének. Mi egy sok zabbal megpakolt alapot (oatmeal stout) készítettünk, ennek köszönhetően a sör krémes, testes, selymes kortyérzettel és bézs színű habbal. Az alapot pedig minőségi kakaóbabbal és a Casino Mocca magyar kézműves kávépörkölők etiópiai kávéjával turbóztuk fel. A markáns kávés pörkölt ízjegyeket a kakaó csokoládés édessége kerekíti le, a zab pedig könnyen ihatóvá teszi. Kellemes és élénkítő ital, mint egy jó capuccino.

Bottle @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of roast, malt and nuts, with mild touches of oats. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of oats and touches of yeast and malt. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Decent.

Creamy tan head on a dark mahogany coloured still body. Biscuit, coal & tobacco aroma. Medium bodied, nicely carbonated on the tongue with a creamy smooth back& clean aft. Malt, coffee, sugar, oats, cereal & roasted tastes with tangy hoppy citrus finish. Very nice!

Bottle at a tasting. Moderate body, moderate carbonation, feels easy drinking though. Shitloads of coffee, lots of roast character, varied. Chocolate, rather soft coffee, a bit of coffee dregs. Very light astringency. Feels very well balanced, tasty. Very good.

Bottle at tasting Rusovce, november. Dark brown color with small tan head. Strong aroma of coffee. Taste, strong coffee, light coffee sourness. Bit too much coffee in this beer, but still good.
