South Frodingham, the home of our brewery, was historically known as Frothingham after the village’s main family. With a name like that, brewing was inevitable!

500ml bottle. Clear amber with small frothy white head. Floral hop aroma, dark fruity malt. Nice balanced taste, slightly sweet fruity malt basis, peach, mandarin accompanied by a dry, bitter, sometimes almost biting part. Good.

500ml bottle from the endlessly wonderful Sourced Market at St Pancras rail station. Orange chestnut clear colour with thin beige head. Rich malty aroma with some toast. Slightly earthy best bitter. Some ok rich malt flavour but mostly earthy hops. Some dryness on finish. Earthy rubberyness isnt great

500ml bottle purchased at Sourced Market, St Pancras train station. Dark brown body, beige bubbly head. Brown malty nose. Malt-fuity to the taste buds with a plain dry bitter end. Quite quaffable (shared with friends, hotel room in London, 21.03.2011).
