A superb premium golden ale with wonderful aromas of Amarillo hops and a lasting spicy and orangy flavour. Cara malt provides a little burnished colour, but the light body belies its strength.

[Gravity cask at Chippenham beerfest] Hoppy bitterness with pine & citrus, sweetness behind, a tingle of spices and glorious comforting mouthfeel. A great beer!

Cask at the Cask Pub & Kitchen, Pimlico on 14th October 2009. Amber/gold with off-white dissipating head. Strong floral and citric notes with grapefruit and bitter tangerine being most noticeable. Strong, tart "bite" and a long fruity citric finish, notes of burnt orange. Love it!

Cask at The Old Fountain, Old Street, London. Had this many many times before, just back from Old Street where I had 3 pints of this nectar this evening. Lovely golden/orangey pour with decent white head. Aroma of hops, fruit, pineapple, tropical fruit. Tastes of pineapple, mango, banana, quite malty and rich and sweet. This beer is absolutely delicious and has to be one of the tastiest English beers when on form. I love it and wish I could get it more easily.
